Fudo offers wines from all three Slovenian wine-growing regions: Podravje (Styria Slovenia, Prekmurje), Posavje (Dolenjska, Bizeljsko Srem, Bela Krajina) and Primorska (Vipava Valley, Slovenian Istria, Goriška Brda, Kras).
They differ in habitat (climate, soil, soil, location, slope ...). The site with a wine-growing and wine-growing tradition is now called terroir. Due to their natural conditions, which have a strong influence on the sensory properties of wines, wine regions differ from each other and the same grape variety does not give the wine a taste of the same.
In addition to classic wines, some of our winemakers produce organic wines, biodynamic wines and wines that should not be called wines because they are made by fermenting grapes of native varieties.
Wine is no longer just white, rose and red. In recent years, amber wines have also become established, the color of which is produced by the short or long maceration of white varieties.
The flavors of the wines range from lighter fresh wines to mature and complex ones that enthuse taste buds.
The differences between the wines described are in vinification and winemaking chores.
In vite vita! There's life in the vine!
France Prešeren:
"The vintage, friends, is over,
And here sweet wine makes, once again,
Sad eyes and hearts recover.
Puts fire into every vein.
Drowns dull care.
Everywhere.
And summons hope out of despair!"
Anton Martin Slomšek:
"It's a sad table without wine."
